Kathryn's love for reading has ebbed and flowed throughout her busy life, yet her passion for fantasy has never wavered. Fantasy has remained a constant in her life, providing a connection to mythical worlds, daring stories, and various avenues for escaping reality. As a child, she filled countless journals with poems and stories of adventures featuring her cat, Lucy, as she aspired to become a children's book author one day. Oh, how things change.

Kathryn's creative process involved playing music of all kinds, fueled by coffee or energy drinks, depending on the day. She currently lives in Arkansas with her husband and daughter.
